Skylofts Royal Oak

The Skylofts in downtown Royal Oak was the first loft project that started the redevelopment of the city's skyline in the early 2000s. The eight-story building includes first-floor retail and luxury condos.

Morningside Group contracted Ideation to redesign the Skyloft Royal Oak identity as well as create, produce and install way-finding signage, unit number and door plaques and exterior window graphics to compliment a refreshed interior design of the building common areas and mainfloor lobby.

The Cat Practice

Our daily drive into work becomes so routine that sometimes it takes a significant jolt to break our gaze from the bumper in front of us. For drivers who routinely passed by The Cat Practice in Birmingham, their attention was surely drawn to the recent transformation of the business' exterior at 875 South Worth in downtown Birmingham.

Ideation was contracted to re-develop the dated exterior of the business' building and create a branded experience that would impact existing clients who travel from all around southeastern Michigan as well as local passersby who likely didn't even know the Cat Practice existed due to its dreary exteriors colors. The building in its current state certainly wasn't an accurate reflection of The Cat Practice brand that owners, Dr. Cindy Houlihan and Joel LaBo wanted to convey.
