The Michigan State Capitol Commission came to Ideation Orange for help with an interior and exterior wayfinding solution that would help visitors navigate the complex space. Ease of navigation was important, but also at the forefront was developing a design solution that respected the heritage & architectural integrity of this historic structure, inside & out. The signage needed to feel like it belonged. Another important factor to the client was developing a wayfinding system that would perform in the historic capitol structure as well as the contemporary Heritage Hall addition.
