Goal: Transform an aging public library into a vibrant community destination—one that feels unmistakably Roseville and inspires people to explore, learn, gather, and connect.
Scope: Interior Design · Experiential Graphics & Signage · Furniture · Artwork
Timeframe: 18 months
Square Footage: 30,000
Ideation Orange reimagined Roseville Public Library as more than a place for books—we designed it as a place of discovery, belonging, and community. Drawing inspiration from Roseville’s history, we transformed the library into a collection of memorable experiences: a children’s area becomes “The Village,” local landmarks and stories are woven into large-scale environmental graphics, and the Tip Top Café creates a new social gathering place. Custom furniture, artwork, color, graphics, and architectural elements work together to give each area its own personality while connecting the entire library to the
community it serves.
The result is a library that could only exist in Roseville—a space that invites curiosity, sparks memories, encourages connection, and helps people see their community, and their library, in a new way.
